In this series of posts, we have so far explored in depth the unique potential each of us has to attract abundance and maximize our finances through astrology. We know the tools and energies that are at our disposal, but understanding that potential is the first part.
Now is the time to put all that knowledge into action. To do so effectively, it is essential to understand planetary cycles and how to take advantage of those key moments that boost our finances. These cycles tell us when the energies are in our favor, helping us optimize our resources and make better decisions at the right times.
Growth and Stabilization
Indefinite, unchecked growth is a utopia. When we seek to increase our resources, it is essential to recognize that two types of energies are needed: a growth energy and a stabilization energy. This principle applies in various disciplines. In gardening, for example, after a growth phase, it is necessary to prune the plants, removing what is superfluous to encourage stronger, healthier growth. Even in project management, after the execution of a phase, it is vital to review and eliminate inefficiencies before moving forward. Likewise, on the financial level, it is crucial to alternate between expansion and consolidation, and the different planetary cycles will tell us when is the best time to grow and when is the best time to stabilize and optimize.

These two energies, represented by the cycles of Jupiter and Saturn , are indispensable for increasing our finances. We cannot expand or strengthen our economic stability without integrating them into our lives at the right times. Ignoring these energies or not working with them in due time can prevent us from reaching our full financial potential . Only by aligning ourselves with these cycles will we achieve sustained growth and true consolidation of our resources.
Let's now see what the role of each of them is in our finances:
Jupiterian Times
Here is the checklist of what we should do when we are going through these types of cycles. It is important that we are methodical and execute all these points:
- Expansion and Growth:
Jupiter represents the energy of expansion. During its cycles, we are invited to look beyond what is, towards what could be. It is a time to project our financial vision into the future.
- Get out of the comfort zone:
Jupiter cycles push us to step out of our comfort zone and explore new opportunities. It is a period to be brave and take a leap of faith.
- Risk Taking:
With Jupiter in play, taking calculated risks is key. This is not a time to play it safe, but to aim higher and dare to invest or get involved in something that has the potential for growth.
- Visualization and Aspiration:
Jupiter invites us to visualize our financial goals and to expand towards them. It is about identifying in which areas we can improve or be greater and aspire to achieve them.
- Training and Education:
Many times, Jupiter cycles imply that we must learn something new. Whether it is academic training or expanding our understanding in an area, opening our mind is crucial to expanding our finances.
- Open Mind:
Jupiter also teaches us to think big and be optimistic. It encourages us to see opportunities where we didn't see them before and to accept that there are more possibilities for growth.
Saturnine Times
Just like with the Jupiter checklist, let's not take shortcuts, let's get down to business and execute all of these points to see results:
- Stop Complaining and Learn to Be Thankful for the Cycle:
The first thing we must do in a Saturn cycle is to stop complaining and feeling sorry for ourselves. Complaints block our efforts. On the contrary, being grateful during these cycles opens up the possibility of manifesting on the physical plane, since Saturn is the planet of manifestation.
- Reality Check:
Saturn asks us to make an honest assessment of our financial past. This involves looking at what has worked and what hasn't. What hasn't borne fruit requires us to take responsibility and make necessary adjustments.
- Assume Responsibility and Self-Criticism:
During Saturn cycles, we reap the fruits of our efforts. If we do not get the expected results, it is time to make a change. This requires humility and constructive self-criticism, without punishing ourselves.
- Frugality, not Scarcity:
Saturn invites us to eliminate the superfluous and focus on the essential. This is a time to maximize our resources, focusing on what we really need. Frugality in Saturn is not a lack of abundance, but optimization.
- Strengthening in Place of Expansion:
Unlike Jupiter, Saturn is not looking for us to expand at this time. It is time to consolidate what we have previously grown, strengthening our structures and eliminating what is impractical or unfeasible.
- Development of Patience and Persistence:
Patience is key during Saturn cycles. It's not about getting immediate results, but rather having the maturity and persistence to allow time to show the fruits of our strategies.
- Making Conservative Decisions:
Saturn teaches us to be conservative in our finances. It is not the time to take risks, but to protect what we have built and ensure that it is sustainable in the long term.
- Hard Work to Manifest the Vision of Jupiter:
Saturn cycles are times to work hard to materialize the vision created during Jupiter's expansive cycles. Disciplined effort will lead to tangible results.
What are the Cycles to Observe?
Planetary transits are by far the most important cycles to look at in order to boost our finances. Transits have a tangible impact on our lives, pushing us to take advantage of the energies available in the present moment. Although planetary revolutions, progressions, and other cycles also play a role, transits offer us the most immediate and visible boost.
As for transits that will help us move forward quickly, those that form dynamic aspects to the elements of our birth chart are the most significant. These aspects, such as conjunctions, squares, oppositions, and in some cases inconjunctions, challenge us to step out of our comfort zone and make changes. While these periods can be uncomfortable or even difficult, they are golden opportunities to make important adjustments that bring us closer to our financial goals.
Dynamic Aspects: The Engine of Change
- Conjunctions, squares and oppositions: These aspects push us to confront obstacles and limitations, forcing us to rethink our financial strategies. Although they may feel tense, their pressure forces us to grow, adapt and make decisive decisions.
- Inconjunctions: In some cases, inconjunctions can also cause some discomfort, but their subtle nature pushes us to readjust elements that, over time, can have a great impact on our finances.
The dynamic aspects, although challenging, offer us the opportunity to make drastic changes that can result in significant financial growth if we are willing to take on the challenges they present to us.
Harmonious Aspects: Fluid Integration
On the other hand, harmonious aspects , such as trines and sextiles , represent easier, more fluid moments. During these transits, energies integrate without friction, allowing us to seize opportunities without facing as much resistance. However, these aspects often bear less tangible fruit than dynamic ones , as they do not push us as far out of our comfort zone.
Harmonious aspects are ideal for reaping the fruits of the work we have already been doing during previous cycles. Although they do not require a drastic change, they allow us to stabilize and enjoy the results obtained.
And What Are Those Specific Transits?
To make the most of planetary cycles and improve our finances, there are several specific aspects that we must take into account:
1. Aspects to the Regent/s of House 2:
The first thing we need to look at are the aspects that transiting planets make to the ruler(s) of House 2. These aspects will speak directly to us about the financial opportunities that are presented to us. An aspect from Jupiter, for example, could indicate a propitious moment to expand, while an aspect from Saturn asks us to consolidate and strengthen what we have already built. If both planets are involved at the same time, the challenge will be to integrate these two energies effectively. This will always be the starting point for evaluating our financial opportunities.
2. Transits in House 2:
The second aspect to consider is the transits that planets make through House 2. When a planet passes through this house, it represents an important moment for our finances. Here we can take advantage of the energies of that planet to increase our income, make investments or make key decisions in the management of our resources.
3. Transits to the Ascendant and the 1st House:
These transits are relevant because they connect us with our personal goals and projects. Through these aspects we can visualize and define more clearly what we want, develop courage to start new projects, and find the right direction to align our efforts with our ambitions.
4. Transits to Venus:
Last but not least, we need to be on the lookout for transits affecting Venus in our birth chart. Venus rules enjoyment and a sense of entitlement, and these transits will help us recalibrate whether we are enjoying the process and whether we truly feel deserving of the abundance we seek. These transits are critical to taking our sense of entitlement to the next level and ensuring that our actions are aligned with our values.
