His birth chart and his public persona encapsulate the latent tensions and challenges that, with the proximity of the Uranus Revolution, are about to emerge and manifest themselves in a much more visible way in American society.

The recent assassination attempt against Donald Trump, which occurred on July 13 at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, is a reprehensible event under any political criteria. However, this event is consistent with the climate prior to the beginning of the Uranian Revolution in the United States, where the returns of this planet have frequently manifested themselves through violent episodes.

One of them is the opposition between Venus and Pluto, an aspect that frequently suggests profound transformations and tensions in relationships and values. This opposition can indicate the clash between what is valued and what needs to be transformed or even destroyed.

To say that this was a highly volatile day for Trump is an understatement. The Mars-Uranus-Algol triple conjunction is particularly tricky for him, as it falls right on the Midheaven of his birth chart. This angle represents public image and reputation. While it is impossible to predict events as specific as an assassination attempt, this configuration suggested that something significant and probably disturbing was bound to happen. Interestingly, this triple conjunction is still there and will remain in this part of Trump’s birth chart throughout the Republican Convention, scheduled for July 15-18. That is to say, the jury may not yet be out on the effects of this triple conjunction.

In addition to aligning with Trump’s Midheaven, the triple conjunction is also making an exact square to his natal Mars in Leo. This only reinforces the likelihood of significant and potentially abrupt challenges. While Uranus could bring surprises of any kind (even positive ones) during the convention, the tension of this conjunction also raises additional concerns about Trump’s physical safety, especially after the recent damage he sustained to his right ear that could have been much, much worse than that. In such a charged astrological context, anything is possible.
